Fire up Artrage.
Begin anew.
Set canvas dimensions, texture, material.
Grey ground.

New layer, sandwiched between the line layers.
New scrap, mix colors.
Why can’t I get the colors right?
Give up, consult “1500 Color Mixing Recipes”

In a hurry, search index.

Confession 3: Self Teaching and Improvising
Confessing is good for the mind, body and soul. Or so the Catholics say.
So, time for another confession for me.
All that semi-good art I’ve done? I didn’t have a clue what I was doing most of the time. Honestly.
Even though I have sat through two and a half years of high school art class and a year of art in middle school, half the time I do what I do on the fly.
Because, there is only so many ways you can use traditional, real-life techniques in digital art. Especially digital art on a laptop with a mouse.
And it’s not like anyone was offering digital art classes, using ArtRage. The Graphic Design classes they offered at my school relied on Photoshop and coding. And really, I tried learning those but by the end of my Ps demo I was tempted to throw the computer at the wall and the coding language just went right over my head, much like Algebra really. And I really suck at Algebra.
Mea Culpa.
So, ArtRage has really been a trial an

I write fanfiction and color line art. I also am in a wheelchair due to Cerebral Palsy. Despite my physical difficulties my mind is normal and even better than that. I am in mainstream classes, have been all my life, and I am a computer whiz.

I began using ArtRage 2.5 about five years ago for my art class and have found it very enjoyable and relaxing, even if I cannot draw my own artwork. I have updated to ArtRage 3.0.7 and am now using ArtRage 4.

I do not like Rap or Hip-Hop but I do enjoy a few songs each from every other genre. I also am an unrepenting gLeek. My MP3 Player and laptop and thumbdrives are filled with Phineas and Ferb songs, my current favorite being "Evil for Extra Credit".

My favorite subject is History and so you'll see a lot of historically accurate colors in everything I color.

Bu I also have a sadistic streak and can manipulate most people I meet. I am in counseling for several other issues too.

I have a perverse sense of humor and I tend to take delight in stupid people getting injured via their own stupidity. My favorite shows in this are 'Most Shocking', 'Most Daring', "World's Dumbest' and "1000 Ways to Die"

I also enjoy Superdickery. com and

That is me.

Current Residence: Linda CA
Favourite genre of music: Showtunes, Goth/Dark humor
Favourite style of art: Digital
Operating System: Widows
MP3 player of choice: As long as it plays music I doin't care what it is
Wallpaper of choice: CatTales
Favourite cartoon character: Scooby Doo
Personal Quote: "I'm not anti-social, just anti-STUPID"

If You're like me you can't draw to save your life. So here are some coloring pages to serve as line arts.

I did not draw these. They are from the web!

Free for use, no need to ask for permission.

All of these pages are in PNG format as it gives the best resolution I can access.

To convert to another file format just open a picture editing program, under the File tab you should find 'Save As' and then save the picture as the desired format.
  • Listening to: Youtube Playlist
  • Reading: Nothing
  • Watching: Nothing
  • Playing: Nothing
  • Eating: Nothing
  • Drinking: Water, lots of water
Yes I am back in the saddle so to speak; I had a massive ear infection in both ears a few months ago and I'm happy to say it's finally cleared up! Meaning I finally feel decent enough to do some artwork.

On that note, I am experimenting with watercolors in ArtRage now ArtRage 5, again.

So, wish me luck; I'm probably gonna need it and if anyone knows some good free resources for portrait painting with watercolors link in the comment section please and thank you!
